Mandatory Equipment and protection
All participating athletes and cyclists have the obligations to wear all mandatory equipment which are : Helmet – Gloves – Knee Guards. Not using all protection measures may lead to exclusion from the event, as well as the removal of the right to security in the Xanthi Enduro Mediterraneo race.
Local Rules- Limitations
Special stages will be properly signed from Friday 24th of April and will be available for free training and test rides. The use of other transportation (uplift) apart from bikes is prohibited for the approach to the Special Stages throughout the whole racing weekend. Those who violate these terms will be granted with a 5 minute penalty.
Liason Stages will have a time limit by which you have to approach Special Stages. In case of exceeding this time limit, a penalty will be granted according to the delay time.
Groups of two will cross the staring line every two minutes
The whole race course is 35,50 km with a total elevation of 1300m, Special stages length of 11,21km.
LS1: 13,41 km (+555m)
PS1 : 3,78 km (-315m)
LS2: 4,77 km (+240m)
PS2 : 4,22 km (-410m)
LS3: 5,21 km (+400m)
PS3 : 3,21 km (-460m)
LS4: 0,9km (till the finish line)
Juniors – 15 to 18. Based upon riders age at the 31st of December of the race year. (The guardian or parent must sign a special participation form )
Men – All male category times will be placed together in scratch format.
Women – All female category times will be placed together in scratch format.
Hardtail – All athletes racing with a hardtail bike
Veteran 40+ – All veteran category times will be placed together in scratch format.
